מלק
מָלַק(b. h.) to pinch a birds neck with the finger nail. Zeb.VI, 5; Ib. VII, 5; a. fr.Part. pass. מָלוּק; f. מְלוּקָה, pl. מְלוּקוֹת. Sifra Vayikra, Ndab., Par. 9, ch. XI מְלוּקַת רשות a bird that has been pinched for a profane purpose, opp. מ׳ מציה. Ib. מלוקית ישראל birds pinched by Israelites (not for sacrificial purposes), opp. מ׳ כהנים.
